Yoga with Flic

I offer gentle yoga classes for total beginners to improvers. Every week we look at stretching a different area of our body such as lower back, shoulders, neck, hamstrings and more. During the class we also explore breathing techniques to help us de-stress and always finish the session with relaxation and mindfulness. You will leave the class feeling invigorated and with a sense of calm and inner peace.

Yoga is a wonderful practice to help us stay flexible, improve mobility and gain strength. It also aids us emotionally by lowering stress and anxiety, and teaching us to focus on our breath to stay present.

The classes are accessible for everybody. No special training, body shape or clothing is required. All you need is a safe space where you can move and stretch on a non slippery surface (best if you use a yoga or Pilates mat), a couple of cushions, a belt or a strap and a blanket for the end relaxation. Easy!

I offer both group and 1 to 1 classes, in person and on-line via Zoom or WhatsApp. To get a taste of what my class is like, why not join my group class (the 1st class is free).

Because of my knowledge of manual therapies, I create the yoga classes to be safe, taking in consideration participant’s personal requests and any present injuries or health conditions.

I am a qualified 250 hr yoga teacher. I first started practicing yoga when I was 18 years old and it has been part of my life since. I am influenced by different styles and my teaching is a fusion of Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Yin and Nidra yoga. My aim is to live by the Eight Limbs of Yoga, the eight-fold path as described by the ancient Indian philosopher Patanjali.

Hence my yoga teaching is not just related to the physical aspect of practice but also contains elements of breathing techniques, meditation and mindfulness.
